Cutmaster Jay has dj'd in virtually every major club in Europe over the past ten years. His musical inspiration came from hip-hop, soul, disco and the Chicago house scene. Having successfully recorded records for a number of established funky house labels over the years his technical ability's are mature nicely. Vinyl Fantasy part 1 contains three cool cuts of funky filtered disco house. A Limited Dj mailout ensured that after only two weeks "Power In The Music", "Freaks On The Floor" and "Fat nurse" (titled for it's fatness) were all played in premier clubs over the Christmas / New Year break by some of houses finest Dj's including Ministry of Sound resident and producer "Crico Castelli" and Cream resident "Les Ryder". All tracks also gained heavy rotation at key clubs and radio stations across the world. If you are a fan of labels such as Defective and Azuli you'll love his sound.

Cutmaster Jay's recording career started back in 1996 with his first recording "Munsterland EP" for Freshly Squeezed Records. Other fine releases from his discography include "CZR, Southside Chicago" on Dockland Recordings and in 2001 "Track Demand, Just A Track" also on Docklands Recordings. Recently he has co produced two large funky house records with another Spacefunk artist Khetama. "Junky Town" and "Stand Up" went on to become top sellers for Spacefunk in it's first year.
