Various Artists - Outerspacefunk Two
Founded by Pussy2000 last April, the spacefunk label is now a year old. "outerspacefunk" is a series of EP’s "out of spacefunk". All feature previously unreleased mixes or totally new tracks. Some due for a full release, others totally exclusive to the "outerspacefunk" EP series. The reason for these EP’s? Not just to release cool dance music but to give exciting new artists an opportunity to release their music. This is the second session.
56th St. Imperials "Release"
DJ Digit is one of very few American DJ/producers with a truly international insight into house music, having lived in Germany, England and his native US. He has used his talents to further the US hip hop and house revolution for time, and now he regularly DJs all over Europe and the US. "Release" is his debut collaboration for spacefunk with Jensen, a native Dane with Latin African roots. Jensen has established himself as a producer across the board from the drum and base scene to N.Y. underground jazz and US house. Inspired by several underground scenes, "Release" exposes the rough and tough of funky global house sounds.
Aeric Bolex "Famous"
This is the second spacefunk cut from German producer Ernst Wawra. Another eclectic mash up of styles here with an 80s retro feel, "Famous" takes over where "Waldmeister” left off. “Waldmeister” features on "outerspacefunk one".
Khetama "Love Me"
Khetama is DJ Stephan Reimer and partner Frank Thelen. The Khetama project started six years ago with a more techno sound on Germany's Time Unlimited label, but they are now right on the house tip and recent cuts have been interesting DJ’s like Sneak and Derrick Carter. "Love Me" is a deep yet euphoric house cut fresh off the European club scene. This is just a taste of what to expect from their forthcoming album for spacefunk.
M.S.P.R - "Freek"
The Mighty Snorting Powder Rangers were snapped up for spacefunk by Pussy2000 when they were spotted DJing across Europe. "Freek" is the work of two upcoming stars from Denmark with a passion for powder sports. They just happen to bang out hard house in their spare time. This one just does not let go.

Reviews
DJPussy 2000 are really quite special. Since going legit after some stunning bootlegs, they seem to have ploughed much of their time into their record label, Spacefunk. To celebrate the fact it is a year old they have put together two 12"s of exclusive tracks and mixes. With eight to choose from it's difficult to pull out key tracks, but special mentions must go to the Modjo-mangling Ladeekillas track, Alex Bolex stuttered disco grooves and Khetama's well aimed, tech-house bouncer. All the tunes are top notch, incorporating a range of genres, making this a great showcase for the label.
